Man har gått teaterkritikk-kurs i regi av Norsk Tidsskriftforening, må vite. Det var en interessant opplevelse der jeg møtte en hel del mennesker som var glødende opptatt av teater, ofte fra perspektiver diametralt forskjellige fra mine.

En hel del av kurset gikk med til å diskutere omdiskuterte forestillinger som Mette Edvardsens Black (udødeliggjort av Sløseriombudsmannen) og Pia Maria Rolls Ways of Seeing, som jo endte med en justisministers avgang av nokså snåle årsaker.

I alle fall, vi fikk i oppgave å anmelde førstnevnte, som ikke ga meg så mye utover at Mette Evardsen hadde strippet en forestilling ned til det helt essensielle, trykket repeat åtte ganger, og overlatt tolkningen til publikum. Jeg tenkte jeg skulle gjøre det samme med min anmeldelse:

Det morsomme var at dette virket – en av deltakerne (vi leste hverandres anmeldelser) mente han aldri hadde fått anmeldelsen, fordi «dette var jo bare teksten.»
